Is the deductable, car rental, and towing seperate from the auto body estimate?
Are those other expenses added to the value of the car when deciding if the car is totaled? Or is the auto body estimate seperate? In other words lets say a car is valued at $5,000.00 and auto damage estimate was $2000.00, the auto rental $500 and the towing $100. Does it end up being 2600.00 in damages or does it stay at $2000.00. or do they factor those expenses in when evaluating it for a possible total loss?

What do you do if your auto body estimate and your insurance adjuster estimate is way off?
I hit a couple of turkeys with my car and got an estimate from the auto body they came back with $2,100 to fix. The insurance adjuster came back at $900. After mt deductible it leaves me $650 to fix $2,100 worth of damage. All because it looked like the passenger fender and headlight had been repaired before. But that wasn't even in the auto bodies estimate! Can I fight with my insurance company and see if they'll meet me in the middle? PS Insurance is BS. How do I go about it? Do I just tell the claims people give me another number or do I talk to a manager? Any help I would appreciate!!!!

What is "paint supplies labor" in auto body estimating?
What does "Paint Supplie Labor" ential in Auto Body repair estimates? I recently had an accident so I took my car into a body shop to be repaired. I was charged roughly 10 hours of paint labor, and another 10 hours for "paint supplies labor". My question is, what is paint supplies labor? It sounds like the amount of time it took to source the paint for the vehicle. If that's the case, does it seem that I was ripped off?
