I opend a new auto body shop. Need to know any estimate software which is cheap and good i can use to write an estimate as start up. I know about mitchell and ccc pathways but they are expencive to start. Please Help. Thanks

How do I get auto body repair estimates for legal purposes?
My car was clearly totaled by a drunk driver (original Kelly Blue Book value of $2900. Frame damage, the trunk is gone, the rear windshield is gone. The city prosecutor is requesting two auto body repair estimates to try and reclaim the my loss. The car is neither safe or legal to drive so I am unable to drive it in to a shop. I have no intention of repairing the vehicle, so this is obviously an inconvenience for an auto body shop to spend significant time on. How do I get these estimates? So my property damage is being considered with his criminal charges.

I just had a car accident, I hit a guardrail I was only doing 25mph and I ended up with a basketball sized dent on the passenger side bumper and fender and a slight dent on the passenger side door, on top of that there is a long black scratch, Im not sure how much might be dirt or paint scratched off ill have to clean it up, but Ive been told it could cost up to $2500, any ideas how much it would cost to get repaired? Auto Body repair estimate?
Looking for a "ball park" figure for auto body repair...I now quotes/estimates are only really accurate when the damage is seen in person, but I would like to know the ball park figure that I am looking at. CAR: 2000, Maxda, 626 DAMAGE: (My wife hit a curb after sliding on the ice) I KNOW that the bumper, right headlight and right blinker will need to be REPLACED..no saving them.

What is "paint supplies labor" in auto body estimating?
What does "Paint Supplie Labor" ential in Auto Body repair estimates? I recently had an accident so I took my car into a body shop to be repaired. I was charged roughly 10 hours of paint labor, and another 10 hours for "paint supplies labor". My question is, what is paint supplies labor? It sounds like the amount of time it took to source the paint for the vehicle. If that's the case, does it seem that I was ripped off?
