Can I cash my auto insurance check if I traded in my car, as-is?
Some details: the check was made out to both my name and the auto body service I thought I would bring the car to. The car was being financed. The auto body service can't endorse it over to my name.
Or should I ask Allstate to reissue the check (I don't own the car anymore) to my name alone?
