Anyone know about cars & wanna help?
I have a 16 year old daughter. Ever since she was in 1st-2nd grade she's been around cars since my husband worked at an auto-body shop. She enjoys being around them and working on them. She's been telling me she wants to do a lot of modifications to a car when she gets her license. Example, turbocharger, blow-off valve, tinted windows, body kit and the list goes on. Point being, I have a 2004 Mustang Mach 1 V8 and I told my daughter to make a list of the things she would "change" or "modify" to a car no matter the price. I compared her list to the what my mustang has and a lot what's on her list is already done in Mustang. I tried telling my husband that our daughter will not have the extra money to modify her car due to monthly payments. So, I figured I can look for a different car just because I'm getting a lot older and I'd rather have an automatic car. So, If I found maybe a Mini-Cooper my daughter can have my Mustang in exchange. Now, I tried telling my husband that a V8, Yes, it's fast, but any car you have can be fast specially if she puts a turbo in a car that she gets. I believe my Mustang is a good car for her and good for me considering my age and I have a fused hand which makes shifting harder. That's where getting an automatic car comes in handy. Anyone agree?

Can bookkeeping be a part time job?
My boyfriend and I are going to start work for a new auto body shop when it opens up this coming year if all goes well. The boss said we'll discuss the hours and everything once everything gets more under way (it's still in the process of construction). He said my boyfriend can do his job part time, since he has to work around his classes. I'm getting hired for the bookkeeping and I was wondering if that job position can be part time? I was wanting to try and get the same hours as my boyfriend so we could ride together and I could have time to work on my online classes. My understanding is I'm going to be the only one hired for all of the bookkeeping.

Auto body shop ruined my vehicle and says it was already this way when I brought it to him?
Auto body shop ruined my vehicle and says it was already this way when I brought it to him? I am original owner of vehicle and took it to body shop to get dead bugs and tree sap removed so body shop quoted me price before hand then check was mailed to shop.. So i took in vehicle to have the car paint buffed which costs $300 but was covered through a paint protection plan I purchased with dealer. When I went to pick up vehicle front bumper and rear bumper had paint spots missing and noitceable buffer wheel skipping patterns where the wheel was jumping on person handling the buffer... Owner says it was already like that when I confronted him and the one that did the buffing just shruged his shoulders and said he does not remember.. I know my vehicle and know it was not damaged like this.. Am I at owners mercy or should he be held responsible and fix the problem at his costs? To fix both bumpers I was quoted $950. I did not raise the devil from the ground hoping this problem will be fixed without me doing this but tomorrow I am going back.. In your opinion how shall I approach this?

What can I do about this man?
It is my first time driving in the winter this year and I accidentally slid into this mans truck just about the drivers front wheel well! I left a note on his windshield because he wash't available. He gave me a call back and we settled he would go see his auto body shop for a quote and he would see mine. His came up to $2400 (after market parts) (He drives a 2004 ford) and he went to my body mechanic and it came out to $2100 (ish) (still aftermarket parts). He wanted to use his but they were booked full so he decided to check out the company I suggested and see if they could get him in any faster. He gave me a call back later that day complaining about how he was giving me a break before and now he isn't and how dare I get a mechanic to use after market supplies and all this stuff. He is going to call his insurance company now (I don't want to run it through insurance because I am a young male drive and ya! My insurance rates would increase drastically). What will happen if the insurance company's mechanic says its $4000. Can I say i'm only paying $2100 towards his dents? Like its plain outrageous. What if he gets a $10,000 quote... What then? Is there someone who had a similar problem that can give me some advice?

Why would I have this dream?
Ok so I'm 15, a bisexual guy and a sophomore in high school. Today I fell asleep at 10pm and woke up twenty minutes ago. I had two dreams: 1) About Princess Diana's death on the news. Then they said "If she had survived two days later she would've been given her regnal titles and titles as queen with Prince Charles." And then I saw her asleep in MY bed. How weird... 2) So me and my mom needed to get our car fixed, so we went to an auto body shop. We went inside and my mom was talking to someone else who needed his fixed too, and he was telling her a story about him coming out as an atheist. He said that his mother made him drink poison after he came out. 3) I had a dream that the Queen and Prince Philip were driving through my town this year. I live in New Jersey. Five days ago I had a drram that Clare, Ruth, and David from the TV show Six Feet under were sitting on a bed eating food. David and Ruth were hungry lol; Clare was infatuated with someone who didn't like her back so she ate quite a lot of food... And something weird was that they were all in a lavish New York apartment; and that the song "I Need You So Much Closer" by Death Cab For Cutie" was playing in the background. So why would I have these dreams?

I am buying a car and is this a scam or not?
A friend of my friend work at this auto body shop and he also buys cars from craiglist and fix it up and sell it for cheap price. I went to check out a car they were telling me about and I am having this suscipous feeling that it might be a scam or not. They have given me a print copy of Certificate of Title of the vehicle and told me to go to dmv and find the cost of new registering and back fees because the car expired about 2 years ago. The copy is same looking as in http://www.dmv.ca.gov/imageserver/dmv/images/fastfacts/ffvr32/title.jpg with all info in it. they say they will pay for the back fee. If it is a scam, how can you define it as it?

How long can a tropical snake last in sub 40 weather?
My brazilian rainbow boa escaped in my car and went under the dash. The auto body shops are closed until monday. I can't do anything except let it be there in weather that gets to around exactly freezing(32) at its lowest at night. I'm really hoping he just goes into brumation and doesn't die :(
